If you listen closely, the caller says she is calling "for" Humana but does not state she is "with" Humana.Apparently this is one of several scams aimed at people on medicare as I have gotten almost the same message from another phone number earlier today (an 855 number). We never answer the phone when the caller is not clearly identified. ID's such as Toll Free Number or just the City and State are never answered.

I receive a call from this number. It. Was a Humana Survey for. Additional Senior benefits.

November 10th I reported these harassing calls made at least 8 times each day and night to Humana. The agent called this number and I told them once again to take me off their automatic call list or I would report the harassing calls after I told them to stop to the FTC and other authorities. I told the harassed I would not agree to participate their home health program in the future either because of their automatic dialer harassment. The harassed agreed to take me off the list. I told her she better do it or I would take legal action against them. The harassing alleged home health service hung up on me. One week later and they are doing it again. blocked the number again and i will be reporting it to legal authorities.

My phone messages go into my Google Voice. This is the message they left.Hi, Sorry. We missed you I'm calling today from your Medicare approved health plan at humana. I have some great news to share with you about humana at home care management service you have as part of your current plan and it's available to you at no additional cost please call us back at 1-800-579-4916 you also can call TDD 711 We are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. To 5 p.m. Eastern standard time again that toll free number is 1 800 579 for 916. Thank you for your interest in humana We look forward to speaking with you soon.

I think those who have reported this number as a scam may be correct. I called the number back (I know, a dumb thing to do--call a suspicious 800 or similar number since they can easily capture your number, but since they already called my number...) and told the person straight out that there have been postings claiming it's a scam, so how can you prove you are Humana?agent: "Uh..."me: "OK, what city is Humana headquartered in?"agent: "Uh, I don't know."me: "You don't know? 1015 am, no message, tell me who you are= ill talk, but sounds like B/S

This is fake health insurance scam. I made the mistake of talking to them two years ago, because I have Humana supplement ins for real. But when they didn't ask me verification questions, I hung up. Don't be fooled! They called me again at 1:17pm today but I blocked them long ago. Phishing should be a punishable crime. Medical history is private and these calls are an invasion of privacy.

My 80 year old mother received a call from these people wanting her date of birth and other information. They are not Humana but answered their phone that way when I called them back (1-800-579-4916). I called Humana directly for a conformation that is was them. They put me on hold for a few minutes and finally said it was not them. This is not one of Humana's phone numbers. Humans keep records when they call people and had not contacted my mother in a couple of months. Do not give them any information it's a scam.
