Although not a robo call this indivual wanted personal information which we didn';t give out but when ask who they were or what company they owrked for - they just hung up. Watch out - this ia a possible (more likely) a foreign SCAMMER.

SPAM? 800-MEDICARE, SCAMMERS! ROBOCALLERS "JUST_BLOCK_THEM!"

A woman called. She had ny address and said she was from Medicare. She asked weight and weight. Then she said the brace wouldn't cost me anything. I kept telling her I didn't need it. We went around for about three minutes before she hung up. .

At best spam robocaller, at worst scammer fishing for private financial and/or private medical information. AVOID AVOID AVOID, unless you have specifically requested a call from an organization like this.

Received a "Medicare" letter saying I need to go to MyMedicare.gov to fill out a questionaire with 180 days or call 800-999-1118 or 877-486-2048. It claims to have come from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

I forgot to mention that the primary number listed on the letter for CMS is 800-633-4227.

Phone number that shows on the caller ID is the correct one for Medicare.gov, however it appears to be a spoofed number, because the caller ID said DR OFFICE and Medicare would not use that name on the caller ID, Scam with a real spoofed Phone number

just to update the ruse on 800-633-4227 some spammer are programming this into a computer program to show up as the number that called you. Number one if they called you tell them anything that comes to mind fake bank number, credit card number, anything you feel like saying including to kiss my *s* or stink this where the sun will not normally shine. If you get the call you are under no obligation to be truthful. What hurts most is letting them know in a short burst of words the reason they are doing this is they are a thief. now you can call 888-382-1222 which is the controller for medicare and have them place your number on the do not call list. After this any calls are from a spammer trying to get your information to steel your money. Remember all calls to you gives you permission to lie, lie lie. When you call you can be prosecuted for harassment. Unfortunately the FCC is controlled by our present administration and could care less as long as you pay half of your income to support the half that does not work.
