Got the Carnival/Norwegian Cruise for 8 days and 7 nights notification in the mail with the Call toll free 800-645-6180. Thanks all.....won't be calling that number!!!

I got a mailer from Catalina Travel Packages containing a $649 check for a Complimentary Catalina Island Get Away for two adults including 3 days and 2 nights hotel accommodations and round-trip boat service for two on the Catalina Express. To redeem offer, I need to call the number. Also, I need to respond within 72 hours to also receive $100 dining card. Glad I searched first before calling. NO THANKS.

Did you and your wife end up going to the seminar? Me and my wife just got the letter with the cruise voucher and if they ask us to go to the seminar I'm going to try it. Was just looking for info on what the seminar was about probably time shares

Received a tri-fold rip off the sides type envelope with a fake check for $1,499 congratulating me for being selected by the promotional dept for an 8 day, 7 night cruise for 2 adults on Norwegian. Attendance at an open house is required. No return address, and small print on back of the check said must be over 25 yo & have a household income > $60k. "Vacation advisor" is a registered Florida seller of travel. Smells like a scam.

This is from a travel outfit that changes names, phone numbers and the content of its travel promotions. You will be "awarded" a cruise, and if you decide quickly, you might get airfare (after you pay hefty fees, taxes, etc) .To redeem that offer for the free cruise: you'll have to sit through a 90 minute high pressure sales pitch about for an EXPENSIVE travel club membership, and sign up. Age and income restrictions apply.They cold call OR send out fake checks with a Congratulations...blah, blah, blah.These travel outfits have many layers of business affiliates so you don't know who you’re dealing with, and they don't deliver on their services. STEER CLEAR.

Yipee! Got an amazing 8 day 7 night Carnival or Norwegian Cruise. I can hardly wait to call the 1-800 number on the beautiful tri-fold envelope and claim the $1897.00 check that was attached. Wow am I the luckiest guy in town or what?? I am so glad I checked the mail too, the envelope stated "FINAL NOTICE". I can't believe I missed all the other notices. Well gotta run as letter reads that if I respond within 72 hours I will also receive roundtrip airfare for 2 adults! Round trip airfare for 2 adults and a cruise!!! Man does it get any better that this!! I mean really does it!! OMG I don't even know who I will take or what will I wear......decisions decisions..........I'm sure this is legit and all. It looks so official and even has check attached.........(seriously, if you are buying any part of my BS then you deserve to be scammed by these people and i hope you enjoy your "TRIP". I shredded my notice after I googled the number. Clark Howard would be proud!)

i got a free vacation for 2 mailer that was posing as a check for $1,897.The only clue where it was from was the prepaid postage which read prsrt std U.S.. postage paid Roanoke, Va permit no 149. I won't be calling after reading the previous posts.
