Scammer/Telemarketer/Thief/Crook/Liar/Fraudster/Con (wo)man (from card services) again touting the ancient lower your credit card interest rate scam. CID showed "TOLL FREE CALL" and "1-800-669-8488". Number is spoofed, it's a legitimate Sears Credit Card Services number.
Another b.s. robo caller touting 0% interest on credit card rates.
Did not answer. Checked here figures.
Because our government does NOT want to be the one who tells the phone companies to screen / eliminate this kind of illegal activity. Doing so would cut into phone company revenues. And...in the process, that government official would be "outed", look bad, and not be re-elected. Welcome to the element of society that is considered prey..........
A big Thank You (sarcasm) to the phone companies who continue to deny us a "white list" ability. To heck with the "black list"...spoofed numbers always stay ahead of that. Too much money yet to be made by phone companies that look the other way when these tele-robbers attempt to separate us from our money.
My husband has been getting calls (from 800-669-8488--- a Sears #) saying they are calling from the Bank of America and they want his credit card number. When I talked to the man (Indian accent - said he was "Mr Thomas") and told him he could read me the credit card # and I would tell him it if was correct, he replied "stop wasting my time."
Try utilizing super redial. Download the app to your cell phone. Put *67 in prior to dialing to keep anonymity simply add the number it automatically dials that number every 3 seconds until you turn it off. I have shut down a number of scam phone calls this way it floods their phone trunk. This really angers the alleged IRS that want you to go to Walmart and get a gift card LOL
The woman on the phone Said "in order for us to properly identify you we need your phone number or social security number" there's no way I'm giving them my SS number. Complete scam.
Caller ID: UnknownVoicemail: none leftI will block your number if I do not recognize it AND if you are soliciting me for money.FEEL THE BLOCK, 800 669 8488.

Saying postal redelivery unit when called. What?
I didn't accept the call and they did not leave any voice message
I answered this one out of curiosity as I usually don't answer calls from numbers I don't know. Another annoying robocall. This time claiming to be calling from Medicare.
Would give it zero stars if I could.
Because I didn't know who the caller was, I sent it to voicemail. The caller did not leave a message and hung up. I assumed it was another robo call and when I checked this site my assumption was confirmed.
said dish was updating receivers and needed for us to turn on dish for 2 minutes to do updates. told them to call back tomorrow.
