Never leaves a message

This number belongs to Great Lakes EDU. This is a student loan collections company. They have called my home SIX times in the last two weeks and never leave a message. - I do NOT have a student loan and have NEVER had a student loan. I was fortunate to be able to pay for my school as I worked while going to school. Took me 7 years to graduate, but I had NO school debt when I got out.I finally called this number and spoke with an associate. I told him that I have NEVER had a student loan in my entire life. - He DID find my number in their database, but could not find anything about me having an account with them or with anyone else for that matter. He agreed to remove my phone number from their calling list.

Yup, they offered me help by telling me I could pay over 300 a month instead of over 200 a month, so how does that help me make the payments!! AND TELL ME WHERE THE HECK IS MY BAILOUT!!!!! Guess cause we are the little people struggling to make ends meet and not a giant corporation making billions we are not entittled to a "bailout"!!!! That's fair!! NOT!!!!

It appears that Hannah works for Great Lakes. According to all the post, no one has yet to been able to work out with anyone from Great Lake. It doesn't matter if you call them and talk to them or they call you and talk to them or even go online to their site. It just doesn't happen. They just want to start receiving your payments

Hannah posted here 5 years ago, so what she posted probably isn't true today. But they are required to work with you by law. If they are failing to do that you need to report them to the CFPB, your State AG, and the Dept. of Education.

Hang up phone calls to my cell phone which I only have for the occasional text message. As this and another series of hang up phone calls to my cell phone trace back to Great Lakes Collection I will surmise they are trying to call someone that had this phone number years ago. As I have no sympathy for the jerks that operate businesses like they are doing and the next one they do will lead me to file complaints against them with mine the their state AG/consumer protection offices.

Get calls all the time. When they offer to help me get caught up they look into it and proceed to tell me, "Sorry, there is nothing we can do to help" I encourage them to look at the fact that I make a monthly payment of what I can but am told that doesn't matter. We farm (a small family owned dairy) and took this out to help my children be able to go to college like others kids- the milk price varies and therefore my payments vary. I will continue to pay what I can I just wish they could understand where I am coming from

They are not supposed to call after 9 pm. It is illegal

my school loans are through the govt. I dont know what this great lakes crap is. I always pay my payment through Navient. So, who are these people?? Is this just a scam?
