This is a Sask Tel number but IT IS NOT SASK TEL CALLING. I called Sask Tel, if they call you it comes up "Sask Tel" in your display. They said anyone can get computer programs that allow them to call you from anywhere making it look like they are calling from a legitimate business so you will answer. If you answer they keep calling. DON'T FALL FOR IT, DON'T ANSWER.

Getting tired of the calls, they call almost every day. How many months do I ignore the relentless pursuit.

I've been getting calls from these [***] on my home phone 2x/day for the last week....wish there was a way to stop them:(

Got a call from this 1800 727 number on Mon. June 10th. I did not answer it. Name unknown.

calls every hour fr the past couple hours do not answer

I asked SaskTel about calls from this number and got the reply below. I don't understand why companies are allowed to spoof numbers like this."We appreciate the time you have taken to write us, and apologize for the frustration.That number is the number to our Sales department, that we would not use for outbound calls.SaskTel is not able to stop these calls from happening.We have investigated multiple instances of this in the past and the marketing companies' calls are originating from a network outside of SaskTel.Most instances of this happening taper off after a week or so.Likely, the company only spoofs the same Caller ID for a short while before switching to a new number.It is suspected that these companies do it to a) hide the true nature of the call, and b) appear to be more trustworthy as it looks like the call is local.Once again, sorry for the inconvenience.Sincerely,SaskTel Customer Services Team"

I know that is what it looks like, but they keep calling every day,. sometimes more than once. It is driving me nuts. I have not answered them. This is on my cell phone. now today at home, I got an automated call from somewhere (I don't have call display at home) claiming to be Sask tel. If it is really Sask tel, then I think they would have a real person call, and I think if the calls were repeatedly not answered, they would send a letter. It just seems like so much nuisance calling.
