Called just now saying they will be turning on power no later than 11PM 11/3.

ConEd saying that they would be restoring power by 11 pm tonight. I live in NC & have not list power in months... O_o

Just received a call from this number. Individual claimed to be working with TD bank. Wanted social security number alleging confirmation as to my identity to assure privacy.

This people are for no good! They want your info. My building not even connected to ConEd system, because we have our own Power Plant.

Just received a call from this number. Woman even used my name and thanked me for getting in touch. Glad I did not answer and so it went to voicemail. Weird. Putting it in contacts as scam so I am sure to not pick it up!

I received a call from this number that says CONED on the caller ID. It turns our the person who called me was a scammer. They said I missed two payments and that my power would be cutoff within one hour unless i get two prepaid credit cards for $800 total and call them back with the number. When I told the guy im looking at my account online and everythings fine he hung up. I don't know how he called from coned's number but i called the real coned and they told me its definitely a scam.

well if Con Edison know this is happening why have they not done something about it... they have an obligation to it's costumers to find and have these scammers it is Con Edison obligation to have law enforcement look into this and end it asap... does not the utility company fall under federal regulation well con Edison you have your marching orders to fix this fast before it hit media tv maybe the bad press will wake the up at Edison seem the lights are off at there security sector of there operation as someone is not doing there job... tell the public on the phone it a scam do not worry is not helping get it Con edison or does Con really mean Con brought to you by the people who power your wallet there way.

Just called - when I see numbers I don't recognize I tell them I am an answering service and can only take messages. Claimed they were Con Ed (and yes the number was C.E.'s) and then continued on saying that I needed to get in touch with the owners as the power would be shut off in half and hour. I know for a fact we direct pay and that payments were made and up to date. The young foreign male voice then said someone needs to call back 844-486-7626 with credit card info and make payment immediately. Thanked him and hung up...
