received this number left a message to call me back said they were from soicial security when I call back no one answers
The 800 number is for the Chicago region Social Security office. Their 800 # system crashed. Try next week.
this is the way you apply for ss now on line. it is perfectly lgitimate.i just finished with mr. williams.very helpful person.
The people using this # and the 312 chicago # are crooks looking to steal your SS #. don't fall for thier scam
I received this number on my answer machine but was suspicious because of the time of day the call was received and the unprofessional tone of the message. When I called back the next day I was told they couldn't access my file without my SSN. I didn't give it & was told I would be called back when they "sorted through the files which are arranged by SSN." Glad I went with my insticnts.

This Is NOT Wells Fargo! It does seem legit, but it is NOT. I called Wells Fargo & they said no one called me. ALWAYS call the # on the back of your credit card no matter what company it is.
