Hello Kristin,Seeing the reply you see the all the lowlife bottom feeders that work there. Rather than write another reply COntact TD bank and tell them the way you were treated by them and file a complaint. It s is always best to contact the company they represent and file a complaint with them. Calling ACS back and speaking with a supervisor there is useless as they will agree with you just to get you off the phone and squash the complaint and then after they hang up they will have a laugh with the collector and say "WHAT A LOSER" The companies won't tolerate it and drop them like a bad habit which is nothing new to them.

I thought ACS was the BEST job i ever had!!!We were always treated well,and we treated the consumers even better....It is not ACS's fault phone numbers are recycled so fast by phone carriers. Especially if there really aren't consumers willing to pay their debts (lol....), and want to complain on here about someone actually guiding them into doing the right thing!Thank you!

Today I received a call from someone named Patrick from this number: 1-800-962-9898. It was an important phone call, not for me, but someone I know. Immediately, I looked them up since they smell of credit agency. The Fair Credit Reporting Act has a letter which you can submit to these guys, or anyone like them, asking them to substantiate their claims. These people buy old accounts and try to collect on them, which is illegal, since you don't owe THEM anything. Back to the letter, if they don't substantiate their claims within 30 days you're off the hook. And guess what, make sure you ask them for ALL the receipts and bills they have with THEIR name as the creditor. They won't bother you after that. One company kept on harassing me, and I send copy of the letter I had sent them to the State Attorney's Office here in my State. I was unaware that there was a class action suit against the particular company (not this company, but another), and the court ruled against them and they had to pay each person whom they had harassed for money!
