Amazon SCAMMER -- like others, left vm to authorize payment of $749+ for an iPhone. Unlike Mr. Hamil, it was a pre-recorded message and to press 1 if you didn't authorize the payment. For any unknown number that calls my phone, in the middle of the ringing, I send a text stating I don't recognize the number and to leave a message. Occasionally, like with this call, I do get a message left. Nope, don't press numbers

Said my Amazon account was hacked. He was the hacker.

SCAMMER

I received a phone call with a recorded voice identifying itself as Amazon Fraudulent Team about a purchase of $749+. If you did not make this purchase, please hold for an agent. A man with a foreign accent came on the line identifying himself as with Amazon asking what I was calling about. Told him I didn't call. I received a call from them about a purchase. He said is was David Jones of the Amazon Fraudulent Team. I asked what was purchased and how. He said, "An iPhone with a credit card ending in "2489." I checked my cards and neither ended in "2489." I told him and he hung up without saying anything else. The was a lot of noise of voices in the background like in a boiler room. I was immediately on alert and I'm sure it was a fraud.
