Correction to previous entry: Spoke with supervisor, apparently this is Discover internal collections department which is why they are so shady. There is no longer evidence to be satisfied that this is a scam though I would recommend calling the number on the back of your card if you are in doubt.
Claims to be "Discover", prompts for last 4 digits of social security number, then 4 digits of account number, transfers to agent and then asks me for my entire Discovery number. I suspect that this is either collections or a SCAM.

Refuses to transfer to a supervisor unless I provide my Discover card number, accordingly I am satisfied on a balance of probabilities that this is a scam.

Calls and doesn't say what company they are with. Said I could go to their website or use a mobile app but didn't tell me web address or name of app.
