Ive always been taught that if u dont recognize the number, let it go to voicemail, if they dont leave a message, they arn't important... with the "you won a carribian cruis" my dad and sister have both gotten that one within the last week
319 (iowa) area code here. Just got a call.. dead air...can't complete call when call back.
When I returned the call to 801-984-2323, I got a recorded message indicating that this is a number no longer in service.... have heard this before about numerous phone numbers of unsolicited callers. Apparently a common marketing strategy nowadays....
Just got the call on my cell phone - area code 440. Automated message, said congrats, press 2 to opt out. Before I could press 2 it hung up.
Living in Texas, cell number is 479. Didn't recognize number, so googled for comments. Read other blogs, and not surprisingly was reminded not to answer calls from low-life scammers abusing the limited freedoms we have left.
