Called my cell and when I answered, they hung up. May be the confirmation of a live line call and the phishing call comes later.

I first got a call from 800-963-9717. He told me I was approved for a $2000 loan. I asked him to call me back with more information, he (Mack Johnson) called me back & an 803 number showed up. I got suspicious and called it back & a recording is saying that the number is not in service. How so? I read the rip off reports about 800-963-9717 (He said he was in Belgium & gave me the name of a bank), he told me to look it up on the internet @ www.fortisbank.com. I looked it up but what for? I know its a scam but where do the 803 # come from...by the way, I live in 803 area code. Just moved here from NYC.

We got the first call from this # at 3.32am. I told the man he had the wrong number and hang up. The man had tv on very loud in the background and didn't seem to speak well English, though. This morning I got another phonecall from this number and again told him that he had a wrong number, he asked if that was correct, ofcourse...I asked him who he was trying to reach and he said an unrecognizable name, I then asked him who he was and he said "Obama"...sure....I then told him that if I would receive another phonecall from this number I would call the police and hang up....I found out that this number is somewhere in Columbia, SC registered(?)

i found an add on kijiji for the rehoming of two parrots 2000.00 birds they said i should pay a shipping company 200.00 and they will ship the birds to me. today I recived a call asking if i had recieved and email regarding the shipping of the brds. i said no. hesaid check your email i will call you back in ten minutes. i am already aware that this was a scam but i am playing along just see what happens. Had this number on my caller ID called it back and it asks for my pin number.

have received two calls from 803-873-9211, caller id: taylor cleavon. called #, recorded voice asked for pen no.

have received 2 calls, in two calls 5/6/2009 & today 5/9/2009. did not answer either call, returned call both times recored voice asked for pin no., then no card no. has been entered, then please enter complete pin no.

We are getting calls from this number. Dont know how to block them

I received a call from this number. It asked for me to enter my pin number. So I entered some bogus number of course it said it wasn't correct. I know it is hard times but dang do they have to take it this far. We are smarter than what they think! 803 - 873 - 9211 is a scam people. Don't enter your pin number. I live in Columbia, SC.

i have gotten a call twice from 803 873 9211. i don't know who it is, but when i call back, it says this number has been disconnected. how can a number be disconnected 10 seconds after it called me ?
