Received a call from this number, 805-519-5311, a little after 12 PM noon today. A woman, I don't remember her giving her name, on a "recorded line" from a debt collection agency (unnamed as I recall) calling to collect payment for US Diagnostics for lab work (blood work) performed in Feb. of 2017, which was not covered by insurance. Told me I owed $389.00, (but that included late fees and she could reduce it down to original cost of $305.54). Said multiple bills had been sent to my house requesting payment. I kept asking what doctor, etc. this originated from, as I didn't recall any such services, & she said due to HIPAA laws, she couldn't tell me who the doc supposedly was! I asked her how can you expect me to just pay you and not even know what the bill was for, and she said she didn't know what to tell me, as she said she didn't recall anyone she had ever contacted before who couldn't remember they had an outstanding unpaid bill. I told her I'd check around and call back, and came to this site found it was in fact a scam.

I got this scam call today asking for $496.86 for an unpaid lab bill from 2017. Never went to a lab in 2017. I have called these people back so many times (to waste their time) that now they have blocked my call. Wow did they get pissed at me?

Consumer Collections calling on behalf of US Diagnostics labs. My call was from "Corey," who threatened and insulted me, using the EXACT SAME SCRIPT as you all have posted! When I called the number back, I got "Elizabeth" (then "Veronica") who said that "Corey" was busy. So when I asked for Corey's supervisor, I got "Barry Goldman" who will not talk to me unless I confirm my name and address first. I told him how interesting it was that the number and "fictitious business name" had multiple reports on this site and others using the same script over and over. He hung up in me. I texted my observations to the number (it's not a landline -- also interesting). My husband has reported all of this to the FTC.

My wife received a phone call today from "Corey" representing "Consumer Collection" asking for $300 for an unpaid lab bill in 2018. He was abusive and threatening. When I called their number, "Elizabeth" answered and said that "Corey" was on another call and would call me back. 45 minutes later, no return call. I am reporting their number to the FTC & Verizon and blocking their number on my phone.

he scammed my husband today. husband calls me after saying he paid $300 to this guy for an unpaid medical bill. i immediately knew it was a scam. idk how he was so easily fooled! ugh. right before christmas too! do not answer this number !!!!!

Got threat for unpaid lab bill.

Same here, unpaid FICTIONAL lab bill. Also said there name was John...SCAMMING MOTHERF**KERS !!!!!!!! Told me if I didn't pay it it was going to get charged an additional 30% !!!!! I told "John" to Go f**k himself !!!

They said their name was John but wouldn't give me their last name and then they hung up on me
