This is a legitimate caller. They are a collection agency (Service Bureau) for medical debt. If you have outstanding medical bills the hospitals and doctors offices will not take a minimum monthly payment. They turn over to collection. As long as you pay monthly it does not have a negative effect on your credit. Nice people who will work with you on payments unlike the hospital or medical group the physicians are associated with.
Just called and stated that it was a collection agency but refused to give name or what it regaurded.

Got a letter that said I applied for an AMAZON card. Called the number to inquire what this was for, they started asking for personal information. When I said no they hung up on me.

Scam debit collector. I say 'scam' because I don't have a credit card, loan, lease, tuition, or debit or any kind. I own my home, vehicle, and everything in them. There's not a single reason for a debit collector to be calling me.
