called 6 times over the weekend taking up my minutes..no message was left. anyone else?

Do not give this company any money or give them your information. This is a SCAM. Someone named Rico keeps calling my cell, my husbands, and my in-laws phone from this phone number. They are claiming we owe a past debt. what they failed to investigate was we paid that off over a year ago. When my husband told him that he said that they are a financial institution so why would they scam us. This is a load of bull. If ypu get a phone call from global trust management corporation please validate that you owe the debt first. Then file a complaint with the ftc. The more people report them the more likely something will be done about this.

If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you. Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.

I received a message from these people and they will not answer their phones they want you to leave your information so they can call you. DO NOT DO THIS. Collection Companies has your address, and phone number in which they obtain from whom you owe money/bills. They will right you and not call you. These people get your information from people you write checks to. Companies you write checks to sell your information. They also have people on the out side in which they buy your information off your checks. Every time you call them ...you'll never speak to someone just by them answering their phones. Do not fall for this fraud. I left messages, "You are a fraudulent fake company and you steel consumers money, by steeling their information from others and I dare you call my privite number again". And that is one way to know for sure that they get your info from others because a privite phone number is not listed and the only person you give it to is your doctors office, or for a business transaction. Put your cell number on your check if you need to give a number.

This is a collections agency in ST Pete / Tampa Florida Global Trust Management Corp.Send a letter specifying that you want them to stop all calls to you ..... office / cell / home where ever they call you. They need to put it in writing. This is a company that buys old debt. They can continue to bug you till you stop them. If you tell them to stop and they continue and you file a complaint you may be able to collect some funds from the company as there are laws as to when or if they can call you. Find some debt collectors reply letters and fire off a few.Check your credit report. They cannot list 3rd party debt on your credit report.

I received a call tonight from Global Trust Management but the number was 813-400-2071. Apparently they have many consecutive phone numbers.The gentleman claimed to have left a message last week but I never got it. He said they were forced to identify all my assets because of a debt they bought. I asked who their client was. He said 5th 3rd bank. Since I know I have no debt with them, I said I would not discuss without written verification of the debt. He then said, "its gone beyond that point now".I tossed a fit and told him unless he had a judgement against me it would never be too late to dispute a debt and hung up on him.They cannot be a collection agency and not know about the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Wow! I am so glad I saw this posts. I've been getting calls from this (813)400-2074 number but I never answered it because I don't answer any number I don't recognize. I figured if it was that important then they would leave me a message but they never do. They called me again while I'm at work today on my cell phone and again I didn't answer. I decided to call them on a lan line here from work and sure enough I got an automated message from this "Global Trust Management Corporation." I got off the phone and decided to Google this company and ended up on this page. Thanks for the heads up everyone, now I know.

they called to "verify a reference" for someone we don't know. I think they just wanted to see if the person who answered was who they had with the phone #. They hung up in the middle of the call.
