They left me a voicemail and not a nice one. Intentional ignoring if the phone call would result in further consequences.
Called claiming to be with the investigation unit at the social security administration saying that suspicious activity was detected on my social security number and said that I needed to call them back immediately at the number they called me from. They also said that if I don't respond they will treat it as a deliberate failure to appear and there will be severe consequences.
when i answer they ask fro Brenda ( i don't know any) and hang up when i ask why they are calling.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
