Got a phone call from ISA Research 818-756-7488 this morning while I was right in the middle of a task. The woman said she was calling from Greenwich something-or-other and wanted to talk with our accounting/book-keeping department. When I commented that I was not familiar with their company, the snooty lady said, "Well, you can look us up online at www.greenwich..... and maybe next time you'll be more familiar with us when we call!" --- at which point I promptly hung up the phone.
given that you seem to have posted your own phone number on a public website, I can only assume you meant to leave out the word "NOT" in your post.
this isa research number 8187567488has been calling my number daily for about a week now they wont stop calling my landline number .
818-756-7488 been calling twice a day for about a week. They did the same thing about three months ago. Since I screen all calls they leave about five seconds of nothing on my answering machine.
Called many times no voicemail. Decided to answer last time. She said they are doing a survey. I kept asking for what purpose. Said just a survey not selling anything. Ok, but survey for what. She then asked my ethnic background, Why do you need to know I asked. She said they are looking for certain ethnic background. For what, to make a movie, form a dance group, why so secretive. She said not being secretive. I mentioned again, the survey has to have a purpose. No answer. Told her not to call back.
They just called, I kept letting him talk and every few words, said "HELLO!?" He kept saying, "Can you hear me?" and I would say yes, then 3 words later, I would butt in and say "HELLO?" I can play this game all day long! You want to waste MY time, I will waste YOUR time too!!!! This works great for all telemarketers.
Call from Van Nuys, CA. She said they were doing a survey with students to see why they chose their school. I told her no thanks and asked to be removed from the list. She said okay and hung up.
Get call from them 3 times a week. They told me very important. I told them to take my name off their list
The name of the company is Power something or other. I did a survey a couple days ago about popcorn and they said in the survey that someone would be calling me to confirm some things. I've done a lot of surveys and while that's unusual that they'd call me to confirm..... they did. They didn't ask me anything that would cause alarm, and only asked a few questions (related to the survey and me). It was not spam as I had agreed to them calling me.
