I just started getting these calls from 818-756-7488 about a week ago, but they have called everyday at various times of the day. I let them all go to voice mail & glad so because it seems like just another scammer looking for my information.
5 consecutive calls on my cell phone. 1st call left a message - Minneapolis marketing survey. They have called twice a day, no message.I do not share my cell number so this calling is strictly random dialing.
If they call and you don't recognize a name, don't answer it. I don't answer ANY calls where there is just a number. If it's important, they will leave a message......otherwise I delete call.......never have one of these call me twice......
You appear to be legit - did a web search of you and your law firm. I wish you the best luck in stopping these "telephone terrorists" - no other word for them. They called my house 7 days in a row and never left a message. Finally web searched them (ISA Research, see previous posts earlier in this thread). They are data collectors using "surveys" to mine information from us unlucky enough to be called. They then correlate all the info they can and sell it to marketers. So when some unlucky person tells them they are violating the Do Not Call laws, ISA Research goes into their spill that they are not telemarketers. But they won't tell you that they are going to sell every bit of info you give them to actual telemarketers, etc. I think they are skirting the Do Not Call law, definitely abusing us (multiple calls) and even threatening us ("give us answers or we will continue to call"). Against my better judgement, and after doing my research on them, I answered the phone this past Sunday afternoon. A young lady - very nice and respectful - who gave her name as Marta Cortez, came on the line and I let loose with both barrels. I might have used a few curse words but not too obscene and told her basically what I wrote above. I also said that she is being exploited for minimum wage, horrible hours, lousy working conditions, abusive supervisors and just being a minion for the fat cats who own ISA Research and make upwards of 25 million dollars annually on her sweat and our information. I also told her I am filing complaints with the phone company (ha ha - yeah they do something alright! ha ha), our states Attorney General's Office, our county's Consumer Protection Agency and whatever else popped into my head. She actually apologized and said she will see that I do not receive any more phone calls. Glad I am not a betting man, because I would have lost my money. Lo and behold, I have not received another call from ISA Research since that day. So, whatever you do - if you answer DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION WHATSOEVER!!!!! Best of luck to all.
They called and left a message that said they were conducting a survey relating to luxury cars. They knew the brand and model that I own. They said I would be paid the odd sum of $225 for completing their survey and left a return phone number that I didn't record before I deleted the message.
ISA research has been calling every day. When I ask them to take us off their list because we I work nights, they refused. Then the next day he threatened me saying that if we don't complete the survey, he will see that our health insurance rates will go up. I asked him to repeat that so I could record it and he hung up on me.
