scam number. pop up telling me my laptop was infected. Asked to enter my user name and password. I called the number and he insisted he worked for Microsoft; even tried to mansplain to me how third party security companies work. I let him know he is a horrible human being and wished him a nice evening. Do not fall for it.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
