Received a text to "View your receipt from Summermoon Coffee Bar" never heard of this company.
Just received a text claiming to be from Square, with a link to view my receipt from Rinnova Coffee. Obvious phishing attempt. Will send to Square Customer Service.
Left 2 text messages; one saying Welcome to SMS msgs from Square (I have not heard of Square, much less signed up), and then one saying View your receipt from a local farm mkt. that I have never shopped at. Bogus!
Text message saying here is your receipt from Texas Carper Baggers! I never heard of them I blocked the number and deleted it. Not today you goat lovers!!!
Received a text from this number that said "View your receipt from Side By Side Counseling" that linked to a squareup link that I don't use or recognize.
This is the 10th time I got a message from this number. It's always the same message, "Would you like to view your receipt from PJs coffee?" It's getting ridiculous.

CALLED MY EMPLOYER. NOTHING BUT SILENCE WHEN WE ANSWERED.
I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
