I get calls from this number ALL the time. Allegedly from Blue Cross. We are not members.

Correct..this is "Censeo Health" and insurance companies have hired them as their "wellness program", which they tell you "doctors" will come to your home for a brief checkup and review your history, meds, ect. Problem is....these are not REAL doctors, they are in fact students practicing to become doctors. It's all part of an internship program and you may never get the same one twice. Sorry, but they aren't coming to my house either!!

Female called and identified herself as from my insurance company & it was the right one and she also asked for me by name but then hung up.

Maybe some are med. students, but the dr. who came to us twice was one who is retired from regular practice and whom we knew from before his retirement.

They called again this morning,but we let the answering machine pick it up. The woman said she was calling "on behalf of"* our health insurance company (which she named) -- NOT "from" our insurance co. -- concerning a "home health assessment" appointment that they wanted to set up and concerning which we had received a letter. Someone else on this site mentioned that the company calling is Censeo, and I looked it up. They claim to be one of the fastest-growing companies in the healthcare industry, and that's a big part of the cost of US health care: as one dr. is quoted as saying: "The USA does not have a health care system: it has a health care industry that provides just enough health care to make people think it is in the health care business rather than in the money-making business." And the ACA was a sell-out to that industry, not a "government takeover."*Beware of calls "on behalf of" some organization whose name you recognize. The wording is deliberate, to make you think that they are calling from that organization. I became aware of this many years ago when we got a call "on behalf of" a law-enforcement organization. I declined to donate and started investigating. It turned out that the police union had contracted with a fund-raising company to solicit donations that would subsidize the union dues, and the deal was that the fund-raising company guaranteed a certain income to the union *and got to keep for itself whatever was raised above that amount!* I discovered also that the company was being investigated by the attorneys general of a few states (but not my own). I don't know whether that kind of deal still exists, but we got no more calls like that.

I'll bet with the abject failure of the DNC (Do Not Call) listing I bet you, like I really want them running our healthcare. NOT!

I read the comments about this being from your Medicare provider wanting to do a home visit. I believe this is a robo call, I started using a "no robo call" suggested by my phone provider because my home and cell numbers were being used to spoof other people. Robo calls activate another number and the phone only rings once which is what happened with this call.
