Social security scam. Said my ss# was being suspended and I was being investigated! Reported to police and social security admin.
IRS scam call. I called back and asked what is the name of your supervisor with a call back number and the operator made animals sounds and hung up on me.
Said there has been illegal activity on my social security number and I told them thank you for letting me know I would report it to the police department. They said yes I need to go there and verify my identity. I told them this did not sound right. They started questioning if I was really "me" and then hung up on me.
They leave a message saying that you need to call them back at Social Security. I received three of these calls in a row. It seems like a scam.
