Same, they leave vm threatening legal action and state they're from the IRS, investigating a local civil action.
I received a call from this number, I was in tears after. I was told I would be arrested. I was thinking to myself what did I ever did. After speaking to an officer he told me it was a scam not to worry. How in God's name people can do this? Isn't there a law against scammers?
Called and said I owed money for a bill and they had the last 4 of my ss#, and claimed I was gonna be sued and garnished. The name of the company they said they were with is Nationwide Redemption Services.
