They did the same thing to me. Called me from 770-557-3001 that is a disconnected number from UPS that tells you to call 800-742-5877, However, the indian male left vm to call (866) 706-6894, this is unsettling to me as well because they couldn't tell me the tracking number or where the package was from.

Thick Indian accent. Very hard to understand. Something about an investigation about a package. Caller ID said United Postal Service and the caller said he was from the investigation department. he gave out some numbers and some company name specific to the 'package'. It all sounded fishy so I googled the phone number he gave and came up with all these comments.

I recieved a call from "Christine" supposedly with UPS who wanted me to call back at this number. As others have said, the caller was inquiring about a package that was delivered on Jan 9th and wanted me to call to confirm that I received it. She reference the delivery address, but I haven't lived there in over ten years! It seems like a scam and I'll be reporting it to UPS.
