Scam looking for callback, asking for WRONG NAME to "Kaiser-Permanente". I assume if you call to have the wrong name removed from your account, they will want all your account info, etc. Typical "wrong name" scam call-back bait, I assume.
Called and left a long, automated female computer-voice message from "Kaiser" (not Kaiser Permanente) but with only the vaguest of vague reasons for the call, giving this number as a call-back number. This phone number does not appear on the Kaiser Permanente website. Suspected voice phishing call.
Same as Simon - log automated female voice. "This is Kaiser Permanente calling for [computerized sound of my name] to thank you for choosing Kaiser Permanente. We have some important information to share with you about your coverage..." followed by a request to call them back. Didn't call. Googled the phone # and found this.
Same as the others above. The call originated from (206) 204-6009, which IS a Kaiser number. I think it's legit.
Same as previous callers. Jittery message that was prerecorded about "important coverage info". I called Kaiser using the number on my card and the rep said there was no record of any call from them to me.
Same as others, but did not identify the name of the company. Just said my name and that they had important information about my coverage. Does not sound legitimate at all.
I received a voicemail from a 206 number from "Kaiser" via a computerialzed female. Said to call this 844 number "about my account". My account is new, but it's already been a week since the voicemail (I was busy then forgot about it) and no more calls came so I guess it wasn't real/important after all.
This is a legit call from Kaiser, though obnoxious. When you call back you get an automated system (which only asks for your phone number -- the same one they called already so they already have it so it's safe to provide) and from that they verify your name and then go through a long series of automated Q&A about things like whether you've signed in the website yet, set your primary physician, whether you have prescriptions, etc. I have done this all myself a very long time ago so find it quite obnoxious that they are calling me (repeatedly) now about this, got annoyed and hung up part way through so I'm unsure where else it goes, but it sure it more suitable for an email or web page.
