scam call. Called my friend said she owed on a old cell phone bill. I called back and lady refused to even tell me the name of the company and hung up on me. Clearly a scam.
Said they were calling saying Claims and Litagations Dept regarding a family members court case .... I dialed *67 then the Claims litigation phone number ... The man said he was claims and litigations, I asked from which state he was calling ... He said he couldnt tell me any information until he knew who he was talking to ... Its not ILLEGAL for that info ... he was clearly scamming.... Family is not even in country, no US Address ... BS...
Addresses are they called with all my personal information about a Sprint cell phone bill or phone bill from 2004 and when I asked to call back to verify this information the lady got angry and said that they were just going to put me on the list to Sue and that they will get their money one way or the other they wanted me to quickly make a payment of $201 or I could settle the hold that for $721 if I wasn't at my friend's house I don't know what I would have done I could have paid cuz it sounded very legit thank God I found out that it isn't this is a scam
Lady called my fiance asking for my mentally disabled sister, when I told the caller my sister was unable to handle any "legal" matters, she said I must fax over an power of attorney for my sister before they could tell me what they wanted.... SCAM!! You never fax documents to anyone you don't know!

Called three times and left no message. The third time the name that came up on my phone was Authors Club president. I answered and the caller then said they were collecting on a debt, claimed they were recording the call. Scam.
