Get calls from this and other numbers; always the same female robo voice and threatening with being taken into custody , etc. You never hear the first part of the message and don't know who it is either. I never answer or call.

I've been audited by the IRS and all info was mailed. This is a scam.

845-445-0389 Called me from one of the many blocked area codes on my machine. Left a SCAM IRS message. This is about the 4th one this month - the scammers must be getting desperate for cash.I predict they will dry up and blow away soon...

I got a scam call from this number to inform me that the IRS began a law suit against "me" (or whoever answered the phone, I assume).

I just received a similar call on my cell.

Received this call right before 8 AM. A robot voice said there is a lawsuit being filed against me and to call them immediately because there is a warrant out for my arrest. LOL obvious scam because if I were being sued, I would be notified by mail. Also, I don't live or know anyone in that part of the country. I'm gonna call them back and tell them to stop calling me.

Just got a fraudulent alert call from the "IRS" - there will be a warrant for my arrest!Damn scammers!

third phone call this morning within two hours; no company name; threatens arrest of entire family if contact not made within 24 hours. unlike call from a similar number does not state it is IRS.

Received two voice mails today from the IRS stating that I had 4 serious allegations against me. I must call within 24 hours or the local cops will come and arrest me. I will not call them back as I know the IRS does not make robo calls.

got a call from this number saying that I had 4 pending charges against me and that if I did not call back immediately that local police would come and get me. I figured it was a "friend" playing a prank and decided to play along and call back. some jerk answered and when I asked him to identify who we was and who we represented, he said IRS and gave me a Washington DC address. I asked why the number was a NY state area code if he was in DC and he hung up. Looks like people have been posting about this number since Nov last year. I wonder how long it will take before these guys get what's coming to them.
