They claim that my phone number is listed for collection and need to verify some information. I claimed to be the person they were looking for "my husband's name", and they started asking me questions about my financial status and where I was employed and who lived in my house. They weren't to shy to ask for banking information and my social security number to "VERIFY" I didn't have any arrest warrants or tax return debts. When I refused to give them that information, I told them that I was NOT "my husband's name" and that I needed to speak with his supervisor or manager....he then immediately HUNG UP on me.

They have called numerous times. They leave a message for someone with the same last name as mine, but I don't recognize anyone by that name... Sounds like a collection agency fishing for a contact ?

They have called twice but don't leave a voicemail. With the rise if AI voice spoofing, I won't take the chance. Snail mail, text or detailed vmail is the only way to engage with me, stay safe and pray that God touches the hearts of these scammers.
