Recording states that my "computer service agreement" has expired and that they have successfully renewed my agreement to the tune of $399.99. I don't have any computer service agreements. No name or business name is given during the call. It also states that I have 24 hours to cancel this by pressing "8". When pressing "8", a man with an India Accent answered. I told him I just got a call that said my Account was successfully charged for $399.99. He stated my agreement expired and it was automatically renewed for $399.99. I said OK, I will keep that. Thank you . . . then hung up.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
