I got a call from Sheila Brooks stating a locator will come to my house or my job because I owe HSBC $1,087.27 from 2013 and when I asked too many questions they cursed at me and said I can settle for $760.90 by paying with Visa or Mastercard today. I told her I was not paying them bc I do not owe this money and I gave her my husband's work address to have the locator come to, he's a cop :)

I got a VM stating the caller was Sheila Brooks. Said they "received an order to complete an audit for our client that we represent. Therefore it is your legal right to provide a verbal statement..." I hanve not outstanding debt so I know this is a scam.

Called three times and left no message. The third time the name that came up on my phone was Authors Club president. I answered and the caller then said they were collecting on a debt, claimed they were recording the call. Scam.
