Automated call with a message asking for the company I used to work for and then asking me to do their leg work for them by pressing button 1 if I'm the right person, or button 2 if I know who they are.

Similar. called back to get "Offices of CBV" a notorious ruthless collections company. do not answer and do not admit anything they record everything to try and corner you with anything said. Usually used by Telus. and a large reason I no longer use Telus for Anything.

Yeah, This is CBV collections. I used to work for Telus and I took some of my vacation days during a year where I quit. Since I didn't work the ENTIRE year they decided to charge me for those vacation days and send me to collections. I knew about that [***] policy that changed right before I left and even sent them a cheque to cover the costs which I found out was never cashed only because CBV sent me a letter and started calling me incessantly. Great job Telus on doing your due diligence to communicate with me!

Collections agency that will call every other month or so. Don't talk to them, don't give them ANY info. It will be used against you. These are the low life's of the bottom dwellers.
