caller id showed COX was calling, from 855-550-5609, had a COX tech here bout 10 AM 12/28/2021, so I answered and had a fella with such an accent, that I could NOT understand him, I kept asking questions, his accent was so bad, I hung up. Called that number this morning to tell COX bout the call from a fella with an accent, COX phone did NOT even ring

I believe they are phishing in order to match names with email addresses.
Thats what Voice Mail is for, so they can talk to it and leave a message.
"This is a Comcast courtesy call to remind you that you have an appointment on [ ] (yes it was actually left blank with no time or date)". The thought was nice... but if you're going to go to all of that effort, one might as well deliver the information intended.
Call requesting feedback for Comcast installation. I actually got a good technician this time. Comcast seems to be upping their game...

Scam debit collector. I say 'scam' because I don't have a credit card, loan, lease, tuition, or debit or any kind. I own my home, vehicle, and everything in them. There's not a single reason for a debit collector to be calling me.
