We received a phone call from an agent claiming to be conducting research funded by the Canadian government on the immigrant experience. She was evasive when we tried to get the name of the company she represented, where she got my husband's name and number from or what the information would be used for. We declined to participate as it seemed suspicious and worrying that this unidentified group is targeting new immigrants.
So it's been 4 days and in these past 4 days this number 1-613-688-5051 keeps showing up at least twice a day on my cell phone claiming they are looking for some man. The say they are conducting a survey within the government and need to get a hold of this man. I tried calling that number today and to my luck it is not in service. I heard the voice mail that this lady left on my cell phone with some access code to give to this magical man that I have no idea who he is. She however left a toll free number which is 1-855-688-1131. Do I dare call?

I called Frontiers official phone number 1-800-921-8105, the agent I spoke to gave me this scammer number, they pretend to be frontier and offer a rebate and ask you to provide your bank account info to “send” the rebate. I hung up
