This is West Virginia University patient accounts. They are callingconcerning amount you owe . They were vert courteous. Try redialing during the hours of 8 am and 4 pm.

It's a scam. DO NOT give them your info. I have spoken to many Wvu secretaries that say you will not get a call from any 800 numbers regarding medical information

This is a scam .WVU will Not call you from any 1-800 numbers of any kind . I have spoken in person to staff of Wvu over this ! They have called me numerous of times wanting my family's information . they hang up fast when confronted ,And when asked how they have our names . Do not talk to these people! Or give your information out ! please call your local Wvu office to discuss billing questions or in person at appointments .

NOT a scam. I called the WVU financial office and they verified that this number is legit. In fact, this number is listed on the front page of the bill that I received from WVU hospitals.

You are correct. This is not a scam. This is actually WVUH trying to set up payment on a bill you may owe. They are always very courteous.

This is definitely not a scam. It's WVU patient accounts - could be the lab, hospital, associates, etc. They usually leave a message and are very helpful if you call back.

The facts as I know them:1.) That number lacks caller ID.2.) That number is on their CURRENT billings.3/) When WVU left messages, they were courteous.4.) If you read the above posts, there does appear to be OR WAS something elseto this, particularly, when you consider WVU lack of ethics.5.) BigA made a very valid observation.6.) Their hospital appears modern and clean, but sanitation is lacking.7.) Their nurses are mostly very accommodating, especially in the I.C.U.8.) They, also, appear to have some very skilled surgeons and special facilities.9.) Plus, they do have many doctors that literally and BLATANTLY create dangerousand life threatening conditions in their patients for additional monetary gain.10.) Many of their doctors, based on what they told me, lacked the needed knowledgefor common drugs they prescribe for their patients.11.) These facts pertain only to those individuals and matters to which I have knowledge.
