BLOCK THE # . IT'S A BOGUS CALL ! Left a message stating it was a debt collector, but that you could be removed from their calling list if you called them back at a certain number. No legitimate debt collector gives you the option to be removed from their collection list. It's a bogus call/scam attempting to get information from you when you call them back.
A company called "Credit Protection" regarding a debt that is owed. They called my cell no. But the the call was not for me, they left a no. for me, to call them back, so I can take them off their list!....right!
same thing happened to me just last night, the call was not for me and it was harassment. btwn 3am and 4am i received over 20 calls and they left 20 voicemails. Wish i knew how to report this to legal authorities!
yesterday between 3am and 4am I received over 20 phone calls and 20 voicemails from this number! that is harassment! Would like to report to authorities but not sure where to report to. Definately a scam to me. I will not be calling the number back to be taken off the list. The phone call was not for me. It was for a different name.
