they keep calling me!!!!

called me. I told them to not call back and to take me off their calling list because this is a private number. The Indian guy starts repeating everything I say as I day it. Then he starts laughing at me in this slow creepy laugh and cursing at me. He wouldn't stop doing one of the three so I ended up hanging I'll in him. Note I get calls from the number at least once a week but no one responds on their end. I just hear back ground noise.

Just wanted to say... I know they seem to be a scam, but they aren't. I have been getting numerous calls from them and finally called and they were looking for someone whom I know and has lots of creditors after him. If they are calling you asking for random people that you do not know means that most likely these people wrote down your number as theirs or an acquaintance of theirs. It happens all the time. I did google the actual company and they seem to be legit. Before everyone blames the company, do some research, realize that there are shady people in the world who are using your number, name, etc. for their benefit.

Called at 8:50 PM. Spammers should not be allowed to spam after 6:00 PM.

You must work for them, because they are a scam. Real collection companies have to identify themselves, have to provide proof of the debt, they have to mail you credentials and receipts. Scammers call you and offer to "settle" on the spot. Do not be fooled by the paid posters who claim this "company" is legit, they are not.

Also, the website claims Credence is a member of the California Association of Collectors and The Association of Credit and Collection Professionals. Credence does not show up if you search their membership database. THEY ARE A SCAM!

Funny thing about this company: Credence Resource Mgmt, BBB does not accredit them, in fact on a score from A-F they were given an F. What do know, so when they call dont answer. This is a way of checking to see if your number is active, so please ignore their calls.

These India a holes are a scam they know nothing they just just call all the time not us but they wont stop calling have turned them over to consumer credit.They are liars. not real company cant even get their address a real company would give address and not harass you.

I've been receiving calls from this number, and think.this is harrasment. A.y way to stop these calls?

I Mr me! is right...We shud nt be blaming the collection agencies n be more cautious as to whom we give our numbers. Most of the time people write false ph numbers to get thur the procedures which sometimes r genuine ph numbers. And as far as i kw FDCPA controls these collection activities. Bad debt is harmful for the society n people shud b more tolerant to help the process of collection activities.
