Number called my landline again. Caller ID said "Kentucky." I called back this time. I hung up as soon as the recording said it was "Convergys" wanting to take a survey. Sorry, "Convergys," no dice.
No one but people I want to call me has my new number, so this was either SPAM, a telemarketer, or such. Called, but left no message. Must not have been important!
Yes they can be stopped buy a call blocker once these scammers have your number they don't stop calling. For 3 months have been getting daily calls about computer call blocker haven't been bothered since

It's a group called Acorn wanting to help older citizens vote who can't get to the polls.
The woman with a southern accent said she worked for acorn and wanted to know if I needed help voting.
Received a call from this number. Didn't know the number so blocked it with my CPR Call Blocker. Checked 800 Notes and glad I did. Bad scammers.
