Calling from 844-730-0799 Capital One "customer security department" to discuss account activity. and left this phone number 866-399-8973 to call them back to discuss. I called Capital One and they have no knowledge. Do NOT call this number back, it is a scam.

I received a fraudulent text warning of an unfamiliar charge on my capital one debit card. Then I received a call from this number, saying it was Capital One and asking me to call back. I called the real bank with the number on their website and they were very concerned. They said DO NOT call this number or give them any information. There have been numerous attempts to gain access to peoples' accounts in this way.

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
