This number called me because they are investigating a stolen check. They needed a phone number for the person to whom the check was originally drafted. Definitely not a scammer.

My Credit Union also uses this company for tracking lost checks, in this case a lost epay check to my credit card company. My Credit Union validated all of the case information that was given to me in a VM left by this company.

This is a legitimate company. IT is call FIS/Metavante Bill Pay service. IT is a third party vendor hired by your financial institution. If they are calling it is because there could be a problem with your bill pay service or a specific payment. It really is important that you call them back. If you have doubts call your Financial Institution. If you have a problem with the 'english' that some of their staff members use you can ask for a supervisor or someone else to speak too.

Called me twice asking for my husband. Would not talk to me although it is a joint account. Called my bank and they are unaware of anyone from that number representing them.

They called and mentioned a dollar amount that happens to represent the exact amount I currently am disputing with a taxing authority. I have a feeling this call is legit. If I find out otherwise, I'll come back here and post again.

Received phone call at 3 AM, they hung up as soon as I answered.

Call from "Alvin" supposedly from my bank, about a bill-pay payment to a credit card. He said he needed to conference me in with the credit card company because they would not talk to them. Smells like bullsh*t to me. He asked who the primary account holder is. I refused to answer or join any conference call, and made him give me a call-back number. I won't be calling back,

Live person named "Sherry" left a voice message saying she was from my "pre-bill service" & was trying to set up a conference call with me on "Reference No. 125280404" & to please call her back. Never heard of her or service. Did NOT call back.
