ive been getting calls from this number on both my cell phone AND home phone for almost a week straight now. ive had the cell number for a few months, and the home phone is only a few weeks old. if i dont pick up, there is an automated message saying its Fifth Third and they need to speak to me, and give me the 866 number to call back. (i dont bank with them, first off!) well i have called back a couple times now, and both times it goes to an operator, i say someone from this number called me, they ask me for my home phone, tell me its not in there records, and give me the customer service number and hang up abruptly. i never call the service number, the guy both times doesnt sound like a bank employee and no bank would have their staff just hang up on someone. the few times i do pick up when they are calling me they ask for some "michal garcia" or somewhere along that name. i tell them they have the wrong damn number, and again, i get the hook abruptly. i dont know if this is a scam of some sort, but personally, i dont trust whoever is on the other line...
Well I get the same calls day and nite 24-7 it sure does get on your nerves every hour on the hour. Will never do any bussiness with them again.Imogene garrett
ive been getting calls on my cell phone from this number for the past two weeks now. it always starts off with a recording telling me this convo may be recorded, and then a thick-accented male (though on a couple occasions, female) asks for a michael someone-or-another. i say he has the wronng number and to please not call again. obviously my verbal statements are not working...
Like Kefari, I got a call on my cell phone from them about my credit card through 5/3, too. I do have an account with 5/3 but not a credit card so I was confused. He kept asking me to confirm my name, d.o.b, etc., but I refused. The guy then told me I owed $140 on said card. Getting angry, I asked him what these charges were for and he claimed that I received a $100 fee for never using the card, and then $40 in late fees since then. I laughed and said "So you're saying I owe $140 on a card that hasn't even made any purchases."He said "of course!". I hung up on him and have received a call a day for the past 4 days.
well do not feel like you are alone on this one - these people called at 02:00 a.m. - chasing $ 35.00 they claim we owe on a card 53 cancelled for lack of use - everyone needs to just keep them on the line for as long as possible which I do screwing up there call performance and saving someone else -
this person calls me nonstop during the day when i am in college. if i could find this person i am not sure what i would do to them physically. they ask for personal information and I called to stop this person and they wanted myt credit card and my name. i dont even have an account at 5/3 bank. they are a scam so dont give out any information. I havent answered their calls because my phone wasnt on me but if they call one more time they might hang up when i start going off on them.
I called them back and the lady asked me my name, I said your calling my cell phone U should already know my name! She got mad cause I wouldn't give her my personal information.
I get the same thing from these scam artists. I had a call from these jokers at 7:30 the morning . They need to cut out the calls and every so often they leave a message for a person who doesn't even live here. There needs to be a better way of getting in touch with someone so these calls stop. I'm tired of the harrasing calls.
This is a legit call from 5/3 Bank. I had an old CC that was closed but had some leftover interest I forgot/didn't know about. may as well pay it so it doesn't get sent as a major collection on your CBR for it. Pay yo bills people
