I got a call from this place. I just got a new line through Verizon and for some reason this number has called me for the past 3 days straight. When I call the number back the automated machine says its fifth-third bank. Apparently whoever had this number before me must have had fifth-third as their bank because I know for a fact there is no fifth-third in my area. I just wish I knew how to get them to stop calling every day.

no i've had my number for a long time and i keep getting calls about activity on "my account" i dont have an account with them. they keep leaving a message to call another number

I just called the number their message told me to call 800-421-9543 It appears to be customer service at Fifth Third Bank which is an internet bank - I told the rep I'd never heard of them and that I was receiving harassing phone calls. She documented this info and told me she was removing my number from the call list. She seemed to be confused as well - so it sounds like someone is pulling a scam on the Bank. Let's see what happens now.

This is Fifth Third Bank. They start calling after the 5th of the month 3-5 times per day to remind you to pay our bill, very harrassing, usually a caller from India. A computer dials the number and then puts you on hold when you answer, waiting for an operator to talk to you. A terrible system. They call day and night 7 days a week and I have never missed a payment in 10 years. They shoudl be ashamed of themselves.

This is 5th 3rd bank customer service collection department from overseas. This bank is a crock at trying to be proactive on your account. When you try to call in advance to tell them you may be a couple of days late (past the due date, not the grace period), they say that can't talk to you until it is already past the due date and in collections. The branch managers and everybody else says this is the case with their loan department. They called us early Sunday morning at 8:00 2 months straight when we were 2 days past the due date. And of course trying to talk to someone who cant understand English is a crock also. Let's get back to AMERICA!!!!!

I get calls 3-5 times a day, which when I answer, is just a machine telling me that there has been recent activity in my account at 5th 3rd bank, and that I need to call a number, or go to the website www.53.com.I do not, nor never had an account at this bank- I actually never heard of this bank before in my life.It's very annoying, and I'm just going to block the call.

fifth third bank keeps calling us several times a day and refuses to stop calling.they are very rude prople.

They have been calling me on Sunday, the fair debtcredit protective act states that they can not call on Sundays. I guess all of the rules have been thrown out the window, because no government agengy is going to stop them because the government agencies do not have the money to stop them.The world is about to change, banks are making there own rules and you can not stop them.

They left a message on my cell phone about recent activity on my account. I don't have an account with them and have never heard of them before today. Like Ape, I'm just going to block the call.

They have called me three times in 2 days and ask for some one named seltser. I have not heard of that person before. I tell them I don't know who they are calling and she says I will remove the number from the call list.
