I think its so funny how people find ways to not pay and ways to stall to pay what they owe. I use to do credit card debt now i do student loans...we try to help people and they dont want it. Some got good jobs from there education...We endup Garnishing them and they call up wanting to pay...Its to late. Lawers...Doctors....Teachers....if it was not for the goverment helping them go to school they would not have there jobs...they are the worst when it comes to parting with there money. They really dont think that we can do it untill we do it. And its to late. So anyone who has a student loan and you are working you can and will be garnished and will not get your taxes if you file.

They have been calling me for over a year. I have given them a police case number due to the fact that this was an identity theft case but they still call me and threaten everything from a garnishment to jail time if I don't pay them. How is it that these collection companies knowing that it's not a legitimate debt just keep selling it off to other companies to harass me? I finally told the last guy if they don't stop calling me and my family the next case number they receive will be for a restraining order!

On Friday, Juno 23 2010, I got a nasty phone call from 1866-677-2569 asking for somebody that does not live in my house. It was a man that called to my home phone saying that so and so owned them money, and they were from the federal office the guy in the other line did not leave his name.Because I got to many calls asking for people that not live in my house that own money, I decided to call back the number 1-866-677-2569. I call them back on August 26, 2010 to find out where the call was coming from and to find out who was using my phone number to open accounts or to get credit from banks or stores. The guy that answer the phone was from the B of A and said that they called my phone because LEP from Apt. 1A gave my phone and my name as contact to get a credit. I told the bank that LEP was lying and stop using my phone number or my address to give credit to LEP because what he LEP was using my personal information and that according to Federal Law was identity theft and Identity Fraud. The guy from the bank said that they will take care of it. But I am not so sure about it

This number keeps calling my house regardless of how many times I tell them I have nothing to do with the person they are asking for.

I didn't answer...Just let the machine take it. That's the best way to keep from being verbally abused by these people. I can't understand people that just absolutely HAVE to answer the phone when it rings! JUST DON'T ANSWER>>IS THAT TOO DIFFICULT? Just recently, I received a call from NORTH STAR while at my place of employment. The caller was not calling for me (for I had never heard of this company before), but rather asked for a co-worker of mine. As I explained that "unfortunately Mr. _____ left for the day, can I take a message?", the gentleman on the other end of the phone flipped out on me, stating that he's been trying to get in touch with Mr. ______ for a while now and each time he calls he isn't in. As I explained to the man that our schedules change each week the man then began to yell at me, I yelled back, we started cursing at each other and when I insisted on speaking to a manager the man hung up on me! I searched through the notes here in my office and found the man's number and extension number on a note that had been previously taken by my manager. I called the number, asked for a manager, spoke to a Mr. Cloud, explained the situation, and unforutunately wasn't able to give "Jim" a piece of my mind; however, the manager I spoke to was very apologetic.As far as I'm concerned, getting in touch with Mr.______ is JIM's problem, NOT mine. I am a co-worker of Mr. ____ (not a friend, relative, simply a co-worker), a full-time college student, working full-time at my place of employment, going to school full-time, AS WELL AS working as an intern FULL TIME. I surely do NOT need to deal with such a miserable person as "JIM".Now is where I show my age-- JIM: ...."GO F' YA' SELFFFFFF"If I get another harassing phone call while at my place of employment from an agency that I have nothing to do with, I WILL press charges (:

I find it funny these posts on here.. 9 times out of 10 the person thats calling you is trying to let you know whats going on.... People that don't take care of their responsibilities post things on here... Most people treat others the way they get treated... so if your an A$$hole on the phone to the one thats calling then you might get the wrath of the other... If you just be nice and kill them with kindness and let that one thats calling them do there job before you hang up then you should not get any other calls...

Another loser who works for a debt collection agency. You can tell idiots like this are pissed off because it is becoming harder and harder to harass people with more and more people fighting back with the law on their side. I just love seeing pissed off, burnt debt collectors in the morning.

Some loser like "Notifier" called from 866-677-2569 but didn't get past my Google Voice voice mail. Collection agency that buys credit card debt from Bank Of America. Had been dealing with this person regarding a settlement. Got a call at work and was verbally abused. Was called ignorant, Irresponsible and needed to grow up. Asked what I had to show for my spending, old clothes or pictures? Told me I needed to go home and look in the mirror and say that I am partially responsible for the economic state of the nation. Demanded to be transferred to my Human Resources Dept. so he could tell them what type of person they employed. If I would have been thinking clearly, I would have transferred him to the fax machine. (My employer protects their employees and will be contacting this individual in the near future explaining such behavior is not tolerated.) Says I was recorded saying I had spent the money but I was never informed BY LAW that I was being recorded. He demanded I borrow the extra 1000.00 they tacked on saying If I could borrow 1500.00 (which I did get) then I could get an extra 1000.00. Told me to start crying my tears for in front of the judge when they start to garnish 500.00 from my wages. Yelled at me asking "where's the 2500.00 Ms. Doe. What he does not know, is that I held up the phone to a co-worker's ear and she heard what he was saying to me. So I have a witness to his abuse. I immediately hired a Debt Collection Lawyer who says I have a great case against him. He went on and on until I finally got enough evidence against him (from my co-worker) and simply hung up. I called back and spoke to his Supervisor who was just as classless as the original Rep. He raised the settlement by another 1000.00 to which I responded "Is that your cut?" I cant wait to pursue this abusive and unfair debt collection claim against this person. They can kiss their Collection agent career A$$ goodbye. On another note: People just need to realize who they are dealing with. They have no idea who their "victims" know and what kind of resources they might have. Big mistake JDZ....
