have just cancelled my credit card.asi*kickstarter com 866-749-7545 wa.fleeced me of $137.

A transaction from ASI Kickstarter for $25 posted to my account today. When I Googled the toll-free number it led me to this blog. Once again, this is going through Amazon. I use Amazon often but not enough to lose track of my purchases. The customer service is anxious to help resolve the situation so let's see where this goes. Unfortunately, the transaction went through my check card so I hope I don't have to cancel it. I also contacted my bank to file a disputed charge. Can't believe that Amazon hasn't changed their toll-free number! I let them know that negative feedback is rampantly associated with their phone number.

ASI Kickstarter charged my Amex $1000.00 on my card. Called the number which is amazon said it was a Bogus charge.

My wife had this charge -- it was legit. She made a donation to our son's piano teacher, who is trying to record an album.

I found this blog after finding a $10 charge in my debit card statement online; it so happens that kickstarter is an online fundraising website and I did donate $10 about two months ago to a fundraising effort that used this site, which evidently was just processed according to their post online. This means that in my case the surprise charge from ASI*Kickstarter is a legitimate charge. Wheew! I just wish these folks had charged my card back when I made the donation.

A charge was sent out to my credit card for $136 and the most i have ever purchased on amazon was like $50. It came from " ASI*KICKSTARTER COM 866 749 7545 WA I had to cancel my credit card becuase of it. It really needs to stop

It might be helpful for you to know that the 866 area code is simply another 800 number. Toll Free. That's all.

Not a call, but a charge. After reading these posts, I realized that this $10 charge was a donation I had made through Kickstarter which is an outfit people use to raise funds for various projects.

This was a charge on my bank balance....I was wondering what it was, and then it clicked....it was a donation paid through Amazon. The donation was a fundraising for a project-and they used a pretty common site-it was called Kickstarter.
