Received a call from 866-840-9226, and guess what?! They actually left me a message! Reminding me to service my 2005 Altima.

This is Bruce Bennett Nissan, 978 Danbury Road, Wilton, CT 06897-4808, formerly Bob Sharp Nissan. This is the most service-oriented dealer I've ever had — I have a Nissan Titan pick-up truck from them. Family members have bought many vehicles from them, and they are terrific. They tend to call if they see that you are due for routine service, and have not gone to them for it. When I had a recall, they arranged for a rental car, at no cost to me.

I just got a similar message. Thanked us for buying a 2008 Altima Coup and calling to verify the info, but we definitely don't own any Nissans!Plus I couldn't even understand the message, had to listen three times to get the number!

wow. Nissan called me too and I do not own a Nissan.that's ok. i didn't answer and called them back and didn't leave a message.now we are even, i guess. . .

No message left. Nissan bugs the s... out of me with these unwanted calls.

Bob you are an idiot. It doesn't matter if you are on the list. They are either reminding you for service or doing a follow up call about the service. If you don't want them to call you, just answer the phone and tell them that. Calling them and then hanging up on them is just wasting your minutes on your your phone.

The call was related to Nissan, but I could only understand a few words. It sounded like the lady said something about capicom, whatever that is.
