It's the wells fargo online fraud department. They possibly called because of a suspicious ICT, Bill pay, or just a login from out of state or out of country.
This whole call was extremely fishy. They wanted a lot of information and said the responses were being timed to try and hurry me. I started recording the conversation and they said they couldnt continue the call. They also told me I couldnt talk to anyone else around me while I was talking to them. Again, whole thing is fishy. If it was legit, they need to change the protocols.
caller said was from Wells Fargo and wanted to verify some purchases made on my acct . he asked me to give information verifing my account, to which i said i don thing so. i refuesde to give him the info and hung up while he was still talking
I've just received a call from (866) 867-5568 stating that they are from wells fargo bank. I did not answer but the left an unusual messages. very fishy call do not answer
This is the number for a Wells Fargo fraud department. You can google and find this number on Wells Fargo websites. I called them to sort out my account being locked out, and they did actually clear it up and I was able to log in again. However, I called them!! I do not know if this number calls you, however bad guys can put any number they want as the caller ID when they call you. If this number calls you, hang up and call them back!! That way you know you're talking to the real deal! Don't give any info to anybody that calls you!! Call them first!
Smart! Don't give out info to anybody that calls you. Call them back! Then you know they're (probably) legit!
They need to realize they can't call people up and demand they give up personal information. Bad guys do that. Good guys need a different way, like requesting they google up wells fargo's fraud department and call that number. Calling a number that's texted or given to you over the phone is not a guarantee it's legit.

Left voice mail with sound like a horn.
This caller claimed to be a rep from Intuit/QuickBooks & we needed to renew our Subscription for $1899.99. After asking a few questions things sounded strange. Asked her for our PIN # & she did not give the correct number.
Call came in. Hello, hello. No response. Disconnected. Suspect possibly WELLS Fargo (WF) , but no actual idea. Don't trust one moment.
There are 2 other numbers that are from this same number - 1-800-457-4708 and
