I received a call from 1-866-5568 which said they were from Wells Fargo and my on account had been hacked. They asked me a lot of questions and I asked him to hold on and I called my people and Ishmail (the caller)said to call back 877-499-6920 after I finished with my brokers. Scam call.

This is a scam. I'm in the middle of a disaster zone. Got an email from my bank saying my username had been changed (not by me). Within minutes of talking to this number, my bank acct was hacked for $2400.

Sorry my first time posting. I got scammed! They called saying they are Wells Fargo and calling because suspicious activity on my acct. Asked if I sent money to John Smith for $500 to Bank of America. I said no. They said they will send me a verification code via text to log on to help stop the transaction. They asked for the verification code- etcThey made it seem like they were working at the bank to help me- they were actually hacking into my acct withnmy help. She said someone is hacking into my account as we speak so she needed to move fast. I received emails saying my user name & password were changed. Remember the caller ID reads Wells Fargo legitimate number- so I trusted. I did what she said . Boom phone disconnects. I call Wells back and they lock me out of my own act bcs I can't verify new info! These thieves used programs like Sudo to choose their number exactly like Wells Fargo. Make you think they are them and they are helping you in fraud department. They empty your account via "RealTime". Means your money is immediately cashed out. Now I won't see my money for awhile.... People- just hang up and call Bank yourself. Caller ID can now be programmed to say any number they want. If anyone had the presidents number, they can request that number on the app and pretend to people they are the president. #SoUpsetting!

The company that actually is posing themselves as Wells Fargo is actually a company inside of Florida that does technical support and is a scam everyone beware discontinue your Wells Fargo accounts and when I went into the bank and started showing them that the phone numbers that were appearing for the fraudulent department and also the main customer service line it is being picked up in rabbit to another entity inside of Florida Boca Raton

I’m so sorry for what you went through Lulu. The same happened to me this week. I fell for it and gave out my information. This disgusting person had me believing he was from Wells Fargo. It’s a sickening feeling to be so violated. Wells Fargo was all over this immediately. Obviously this is an ongoing problem. The criminals got 1000 and were going for another 2000 when my bank stopped them. Just in case the criminals read these messages, I feel sorry for you because someday karma will get you and you will find yourselves on your knees begging for mercy. You may have disrupted my life for a few weeks but nothing like the devastation you will experience in the future. Good luck.
