I got a huge batch of calls from this number over several days, always hanging up on my machine. Finally I picked up and demanded to be put on their "do not call list." The guy said the do not call list didn't apply to them. I've forgotten what kind of outfit he said he was. I said I didn't care if the national do not call registry applied, as far as I know anyone who cold-calls homes has to have an internal do not call list, and if a person demands to be on it, they have to be put on it. He gave me a kind of uncaring shrug-type voice and said it was automatic dialing. In other words, he told me right to my face that I was going to be called whether I wanted to be called or not. I got mad, swore, hung up. Today I tried to call back to complain. I called the number on the caller ID three times, but my call "could not be completed as dialed." Somehow the number on my caller ID must be set falsely is all I can think.

Call came in at 3:41P.M. on February 9, 2026. No spoken message was left. I checked the missed call box that read not in service. I checked the phone and there was a dial tone. I assumed the call was a scam.
