Started to fill out the request but stopped before the payment screen. They have called 4 times in a matter of minutes. Forget it! Will go to a different DNA company. This is harassment!

I also started to fill out an order from for their DNA test. My phone rang minutes later and a woman with a thick foreign accent tried to sell me an upgrade. - On a SUNDAY MORNING, no less! I will now cancel my 14 day trial membership. Too bad... it appeared to be a good genealogical site.

I had purchased a "premium" year membership because somebody had a tree with connections to mine. Myheritage had "mistakenly" cancelled my membership and it took a while to correct their mistake; they did eventually correct it. The problem with this site is that they try to tell you you need to upgrade if you want to have access to more records. Honestly, they aren't worth it. Get ancestry instead, unless you think it's worth paying to get a particular family tree/info that you can't find on ancestry. They are a rip off. They called Sunday morning as well but they didn't answer, probably because I didn't renew my membership.

This is MyHeritage, a genealogy website. I had a "free" account with them. Whenever I would "confirm" a match they found, the website would offer an opportunity to upgrade to premium or pay access. If you don't elect to upgrade, they immediately call you to try to hard sell or offer you a discounted rate. This is intrusive, IMO and I have deleted my free account with them because of it.

I was ordering the DNA kit and the phone rang before purchase was even completed. I spoke to "Johnnie" from My Heritage on the phone and he identified two packets, the data subscription and the premium plus, that I could purchase for a total of $175. I did not purchase them at this time, but did complete the purchase of the DNA test, as that is something I have wanted for years anyway. If the caller truly was from My Heritage, it wasn't overly annoying, but I would not want any further unsolicited contact. Since the transaction was made on the website and no financial information was given to him over the phone, I assume this was a legitimate transaction, although I did find the instantaneous phone outreach unusual, to say the least.

I saw an ad by My Heritage around Mother's Day for a $69 sale on their DNA test. I filled out their order form & then thought I should read some reviews & compare to Ancestry.com & 23 & Me.com & others. When I read several really bad reviews about My Heritage DNA results & harassment & upselling attempts, I cancelled the order prior to pushing the "submit" button. That was about 10 days ago & they have called me twice so far. I went with 23 & Me instead on a $79 Mothers Day sale & am very happy I did not go with My Heritage! Avoid them!!!!!! :^(
