Got 3 calls in 24 hours. I am suspicious of calls from call centers and was unsure if the call was really from My Heritage, particularly since the caller was offering a discount not shown on website.
Called twice in quick succession right after I clicked to upgrade "MyHeritage.com" site, so I'm sure that's who it is. Didn't answer as I didn't really want to upgrade at this time.
Also wanted to give discount on my heritage too. The guy said he was calling from Egypt !!!? Seriously.
it is MyHeritage. They've changed how their site works, now any time you confirm a match or try to look at a photo match it will take you to their products page and then they call trying to sell you their packages. My husband had a nightmare experience with them a while back; they called because his membership was expiring, offered a rotten deal to him, he said no, they sent an email to him, he opened the email to see what the new rotten deal was, it was a "sorry to see you go" email, next day while doing routine banking he found where they had charged him $120 for a 6 month membership when he told them NO quite clearly. When he spoke with MyHeirtage they said "Well you opened the email we sent you and by doing that you were agreeing to the transaction and 6 month membership." Took us a month to get that mess cleared and get our money back.

According to my log, has called 10 times since 2023, always a new caller ID, this one came up as TellCityHall but same number, and at 9:49pm ffs.
